Friends of the Abbie Gardner Cabin Historic Site is leading a preservation effort of the Abbie Gardner cabin, historic site and interpretive center with guidance from the Iowa Cultural Affairs Department.
Okoboji Music Masters entertains audiences with exceptional musicians dedicated to delivering quality fun performances. This non-profit is dedicated to bringing exceptional local talent together for the summer season.
OkoboTree is a project intended to extend the longevity and beauty of trees in the area through visual art and preservation. The project kicked off with the commissioning of an Iowa-based visual artist to create sculptures from expired trees in the area.
Lakes Area Museum Alliance (LAMA) is a coalition of 13 local museums who collaborate to increase the visibility and attendance at all Dickinson County Museums, educate the public on the history of the area, and thereby help to not only ensure the sustainability of historical preservation but also to enhance Okoboji area tourism.
The Okoboji Glacier is envisioned as the Midwest’s first nonprofit live-lab Hospitality & Tourism Academy, embedded within a year-round campus featuring a sports complex, family entertainment center, hotel, and conference center. The Academy will prepare 7th–12th grade students for careers in hospitality and tourism while strengthening workforce development and economic growth in the Iowa Great Lakes region.

Emerald Hills Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course with the highest course and slope rating in the Okoboji region. The Spirit of Okoboji is preserving Emerald Hills as a community asset—protecting green space, enriching recreation, creating new holes, and ensuring the course endures for generations to come.
